We are proud to announce that the ERC-20 PPR token distribution is completed.

Below you can find all the information about the event. We are happy to answer your questions via Telegram (https://t.me/papyrusglobal), Facebook or Twitter.

General information:

We will be updating the community on our decisions regarding the future distribution of these tokens. By freezing this token pool we eliminate any unexpected influence on the token market.

According to the stricter requirements of regulators, the ability to make transactions with PPR tokens will be unlocked only after the launch of the Papyrus Network mainnet.

Soon we will deploy the first Papyrus testnet and release a website with knowledgebase on the Papyrus Network.

As we reaching the end of November, it is time to summarize the progress we made on the technical development side and share our future plans for December.

Papyrus Network

Papyrus Network represents our vision of a scalable, efficient and reliable decentralized applications platform, compatible with Ethereum Virtual Machine and Solidity projects. We are at the finish line before launching our first testnet!

Our development team successfully achieved the following milestones:

  • We forked the code base of official go-ethereum client and instead of the gas model, we adopted token staking resource management model for transactions and smart contracts, running in traditional EVM.
  • We have made Clique consensus performance tests and optimized consensus code to achieve the performance of 1000 TPS+ in geographically dispersed Proof-of-Authority network.
  • We deployed and successfully tested the instance of token gateway between Ethereum Rinkeby network and our development network. Token gateway will allow unhindered transfer of PPR tokens from Ethereum public network (ERC-20 PPR token) to Papyrus Network (native network token) and vice versa. Token supply will be managed within Papyrus Network after mainnet launch.

Monitor

The team leading the development of Channel Monitor does not lag behind the blockchain department and regularly releases new features, for instance, right now — new tools, designed to be used by operating personnel of the market participants, who use channels for their billing settlement or validation. Three new pages are ready:

  • Channel overview page with aggregated information for a specified date. This information includes: amount of blocks (settled/dispute), clearing amount, participants’ amounts, participants’ number of events, discrepancies.
  • Block overview page with aggregated information showing clearing amount, participants’ amounts, participants’ number of events, discrepancies.
  • Dynamic Venn’s diagram both on channel view and block view pages that allow intuitive guidance to channels/block health based on the discrepancies.

For any questions or ideas regarding the updates, please, reach us directly via our official Telegram group, or through Facebook and Twitter.

More big news is coming, stay tuned!
