Right now the Papyrus team works simultaneously on two major areas — the Papyrus blockchain digital advertising ecosystem and the Papyrus blockchain Network.

The working updates for February are the following:

Papyrus Network (https://papyrus.network/):

Research and Development of entirely new products often produce more issues and questions than the actual result, but not for our RnD blockchain department. Complex technical tasks only kindle our team’s enthusiasm and push us forward to add new features to our blockchain.

Now that we are almost done with implementing the limits, we are more focused on debugging and testing the specific features associated with the staking mechanism. For example:

  • Transactions in our network will be prioritized by default based on the stake volume (instead of the usual gas commission in Ethereum).
  • For greater flexibility and backward compatibility, gasLimit was not completely removed from our network but remains as a constant. Additionally, we added the ability to change gasLimit with a vote of sealers for even greater adaptability.

These features, of course, are only a cherry on top of the whole staking mechanism, which could be simply described as a mapping between Ethereum address and its stake — gas limit in terms of Ethereum mainnet.

After testing and emulating network attacks, we overhauled the ‘conveyor’ mechanism: while staking proceeds almost immediately, the stake unfreeze process must go through the conveyor mechanism, which prevents possible scam such as attempts to make repeated freezing and unfreezing of stakes in order to get additional limits.

Papyrus blockchain protocol for digital advertising (https://papyrus.global/):

For the Last 3 months, the team was heavily involved in the making of the new features for Papyrus Dashboard. The goal for Papyrus Dashboard is to bring transparency in the chain of intermediaries in Ad Tech. Basically, these tools help participants to see their Revenues/Expenses structure along with the fees they pay to the other intermediaries.

Intelligence

This tool allows a participant to analyze the traffic it’s taking part in, based on a wide range of metrics such as efficiency (CTR, CPA, CR, Average View Time etc.), Fees (fee structure per participant), Risk Traffic. It helps to visualize and create alerts for any kind of inefficiencies in the traffic e.g.: fraudulent publishers, non-viewable ads, low CTR, CR rates.

Spending Distribution

This tool visualizes the spending structure across the vendors in the inventory buying process. This tool is developed specifically for advertisers and agencies to improve their channels with efficient vendors in terms of fees and campaign performance. And also helps to minimize high-risk traffic and usage of vendors with high fees.
