An early morning start on a Monday is always a painful thing but when you are headed to NYC there is excitement in the air. On arrival at JFK everything runs smoothly through traffic to get to the hotel is minimal for a change — I might take this flight more often!

After a short morning run in the Central Park in the sun, I headed towards a meeting with a few agency and ad tech contacts in the sunshine on a NYC agency rooftop. General questions — Papyrus solution for the real business as well as the key challenges for the integration. A good start overall, everyone seemed to be pleased by our newest developments for the integration ease.

The next day — morning conversations with our new PR agency 5W to get things kick started and coffee with our senior adviser Patrick Dawson a busy morning. At the lunch time — big event with a strong “Security Tokens” focus. The whole afternoon of sessions with fresh info about the security token structures, would be helpful for our future token economics research.

Quick catch up with Jeremy Epstein, one of our other advisors, ironing out the final pieces of the go-to-market strategy— basically, the more beneficial and faster way is to integrate with existing market players, helping them to solve issues without competing or replacing them. I also had to ensure he had the right information for his presentation to 100 CMO’s.

The main World Blockchain Forum (WBF) networking event went vastly fruitful, I met a couple of world-class martech industry people as well as some open minded investors while sharing them the general idea of Papyrus — the world’s first comprehensive and highly scalable decentralized ecosystem for digital advertising and it is uniquely placed to remedy all the problems associated with the traditional digital advertising models and the limitations of blockchain technology. Dozens of new contacts; strong work with no rest till 2 am!!

Morning starts with the Kick off session to meet the 5W PR agency team with Igor — looking forward to working with them — exciting times ahead. Then, another afternoon at the main event — less people that the day before, swapped cards with a few people who could be potentially interesting for us. Lunch with Addie followed by a good session with Addie, Patrick Dawson and Igor to cover off the potential GroupM pilot.

Met with my former colleagues from RadiumOne crew who are now at Ogilvy, Sizmek, Choozle and Dstillery to name a few — great to see some familiar faces.

Thursday — final day in NYC, started with calls with London, Breakfast with a potential CMO and then straight to Addie’s agency Decoded to present the solution to them — busy afternoon of getting all set for the next trip — to Cannes! Hope it will be as good as WBF, stay tuned!
